The main drug problems in Mozambique concern alcohol, cannabis, hashish and heroin. The use of club drugs such as ecstacy appaears fairly rare, as does the use of mandrax. Use of cocaine does not appear to be very common. This may be related to the fact that it is relatively expensive Over the Counter (OTC) and prescrition medicine abuse also appears to be rare.
