Al Anon Family Groups

Al-ANON FAMILY GROUPS (Al-ATEEN FOR YOUNGER FAMILY MEMBERS)

Help for families and friends of alcoholics. Here help can be found for everyone whose problem is alcoholism in others. Al-Anon’s sole purpose is to help the families of alcoholics.

Al-anon is totally anonymous and there is no talk of people you see there or repetition of whatever one might hear there outside. Only first names and last initials are used.

Members of any faith or no faith at all are welcome as Al-Anon. It is not a religious fellowship but a spiritual one.

There are no fees or dues to join Al-Anon though most groups will pass a basket to help with rent, literature, refreshments but contributions for this are not compulsory.

If you are living with or have lived with an alcoholic, al-Anon can help you. The program offered shows one how to cope with the problems and find a more serene approach to life.
