Could you help, Kaguthi?
The Standard (Formerly East African Standard) Thursday 28th October 2004

Three weeks ago we wrote about the plight of a vociferous fighter against alcohol and drug abuse, David Ogot senior. We detailed how he has been helping alcoholics in way of counselling and rehabilitation. Ogot established a website called goinghomedotcom.org He has been running without funds. Sadly, the website now has to close down. Ogot himself has been incapacitated by an injury and all the good work he has been doing is now in danger of going to waste.

One other person we can think of who has been consistently concerned about the same issue as Ogot is Mr. Joseph Kaguthi our drugs Csar. This column asks him kindly not to forget Ogot. If he can help, may he please galvanise support for this gallant fighter.
