I have recently read a few letters sent to editors of the local dailies in the media, about Dave Ogot and his drug absue campaigns. I have recently had the opportunity to visit the offices of goinghomedotcom from where he conducts his noble crusades.

There is no doubt in anybody's mind that what dave is doing, is a very important thing. he conducts counselling sessions for people with drug-related problems, especially but not limited to alcohol abuse.

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage and to urge him on, especially after his one year as a human banner, carrying drug related messages on his T-shirts. I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage the government, coorporate bodies and NGO's to support his work in which ever way possible.

One thing I have particlularly noted is that he is in desperate need of furniture in his office. Anybody who appreciates this kind of selfless endevour should come foward and donate furniture to this selfless son of Kenya if only to encourage him to move foward and to continue his service to society.
