We start a chain reaction with an article in a local paper or magazine, a radio programme on any number of local stations, a Television programme or the airing of one of our documentaries or incorporating our stories including acting in local long running soaps in Kiswahili so as to reach a wider audience, or at a public motivational talk which galvanises the client's family into learning more about alcoholism and other drug addiction.

Having got them to a situation where they are ready to admit to a non-fmaily member that there is a problem, we walk them through the issues including such crucial areas as enabling and come up with a joint approach to get the client to confront his/her addiction.

Finaly we see the client and after counseling we hope to have motivated them to see the need to enter into a treatment programme most suitable for their needs.
