The goinghomedotcom Trust runs a lending library with novels to encourage a reading culture among the youth. This among other things is a constructive use of their leisure time which helps them keep away from unhealthy activities such as drug use.

This NOVELS LIBRARY also lends novels on a rotational basis to rehabilitation centers to be used by the clients while they are undergoing treatment. For more information on how your centre can sign up for this service please get in touch with us at goinghomedotcom@yahoo.com

For members of the public who would like to join up there is a token registration fee of Kshs. 350/- and one then pays Kshs. 50/- per book borrowed. This token cost is to cover adminstrative costs as this is a purely not-for-profit venture in line with the goinghomedotcom Trust's objectives. This amount also subsidises the Novels Outreach programme for the rehablitation centres. This token amount also subsidises the Novels Outreach as it lends novels FREE of charge to recovering alcoholics who have left the centres or other treatment prgrammes. This allows them to effectively utilise thier spare time especially in the early days of recovery while helping encourage a reading culture among Kenyans.
