General Concerns

1. Participation and access of women to the media and information and communication technologies and their impact on and use as an instrument for advancement of women
2. Women's human rights and elimination of all forms of violence against women and girls

Schedule of Activities

1. March 1st. - Launching of the International Women Day in Kajiado
2. March 2nd. - Prayers countrywide - each organisation to make their prayer arrangements.
3. March 3rd. - Launch of Madac - Nairobi
4. March 4th. - Activity to be filled later by other members of the Steering Committee
5. March 5th. - Activity to be filled later by other members of the Steering Committee
6. March 6th. - National Steering Committee Departure for Makueni
7. March 7th. - Stakeholders one day workshop in Makueni for targeted institutions and persons (Capacity Building.)
   -Inclusion of Drug and Substance Abuse topic in the days programme. Sponsor: UNDCP
   Individual organisations to take care of per diem as this will not be catered for by the UNDCP.
